Heirloom mahjong, made to be played.
Some of the best memories happen around a table: the click of tiles, the friendly rivalry, the laughter that fills a room on game night. At Mahjloom, we believe a mahjong set should be part of those memories for years to come.
That’s where our name comes from. Mahjloom brings together mahj, the name players lovingly give the game, and heirloom: something made to be treasured, played often, and one day passed on.
Why we started Mahjloom
American mahjong has a way of bringing people together, from weekly groups of old friends to new players learning their very first hand. As more people discover the game, we wanted to create a place where finding a beautiful, complete set feels simple and joyful.
So we set out to build a store around three simple ideas:
- Sets that feel special: tiles with thoughtful designs and a quality feel in your hand, made to be brought out again and again.
- Everything you need, clearly explained: every product page tells you exactly what’s included, from tile counts to jokers to dimensions, so there are no surprises.
- Easy from checkout to game night: free U.S. shipping on every order, fast delivery from our U.S. warehouse, and 30-day returns with a free return label.
Respecting the game
Mahjong has a long and rich history that began in China more than 150 years ago, and it has grown into a game loved by players around the world, including the American mahjong tradition many of us play today. We’re grateful to be part of that story, and we hope our sets help create new traditions at your table.
